Needy Industrious Welfare of Rural Association (NIRA) a local based Non-Government voluntary social development Organization has been working around district of Dianjpur from July 2010. It is established by some self-motivated local social workers, headed by M. K. Sohel Rana. At present acting as Executive Director (ED) and all others are always ready to serve the poor aiming to promote humanity with better livelihood in the society. It is a common phenomenon that the poor, destitute, landless and distressed people lived in the remotest corner around rural and slum areas in district Dinajpur living under the subsistence level. Due to various problems like lack of awareness, illiteracy, skills, poverty etc. they are unable to promote or establish their due rights in the society. Consequently the poor people are neglected CXB as such they are unable to take part in the on-going development activities undertaken by the government. Sustainable and need-based development will not be achieved unless the poor people’s participation in the development process ensured. NIRA has implementing different development and service oriented programs within its working areas with the poor to change their socio-economic condition and sustainable development.
