RHSTEP is pioneer in providing MR training to doctors, nurses, paramedics and FWVs. Other than this RHSTEP is also providing a range of different training in aspect of reproductive health. RHSTEP has proven track record in providing such trainings. RHSTEPs training unit has conducted and developed a substantial number of training modules and manuals for development agencies, GoB and other organizations. It has a well equipped training room with modern audio-visual facilities to provide those trainings.

RHSTEP was established with a motto to bring a positive change in sexual and reproductive health statuses of men, women and adolescents across the Bangladesh. RHSTEP is doing that through a range of medical/clinical services as well as some non clinical services.

Diagnostic and Pathological Services

RHSTEP is providing a range of diagnostic and pathological services including different blood test (e.g: Hemoglobin, CBC, Blood Sugar, GTT, VDRL, HbsAg, Bilirubin, HCB etc), urine/ stool test, Ultra sonogram etc. 

RHSTEP plays a key role in promoting SRHR awareness activities in community level. RHSTEP aims to improve knowledge on SRHR through awareness-raising and comprehensive sexuality education and to increase the accessibility and quality of sexual and reproductive health services. This will support people to make informed decisions about their sexual and reproductive lives. Furthermore, the RHSTEP actively contributes to an environment in which sexual violence is considered unacceptable and stigma is reduced.

As one of the leading NGO in the field of SRHR, RHSTEP is engaged in regular dialogues with government and other national organizations to strengthen their activities in SRHR issues. Through its strong advocacy activities RHSTEP is creating enabling environment in establishing sexual and reproductive health rights. RHSTEPs advocacy activities includes

RHSTEP believes in evidence based development in Bangladesh. For this reason recently it has formed a research team to conduct different research on SRHR issues. It is highly important that the decision-makers have prior knowledge on sector wise development to design appropriate prevention programs or intervention activities that is why RHSTEP collect and analyze different health and development data from health care providers, agencies and targeted individual from the catchments area to create an enabling and positive environment for SRHR development.
